A safe, compassionate space to rebuild after life-changing experiences

Sometimes life changes in a way you didn't expect. Maybe you've become a mother, experienced a health challenge, lost someone you love, gone through a relationship change, or found yourself living a life that no longer feels familiar.

I work primarily with women who are rebuilding after life-changing experiences — especially when those experiences leave you questioning who you are, what comes next, or how to feel like yourself again.

You don't have to have it all figured out before you come through the door. I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly, make sense of what you're experiencing, and begin figuring out what comes next.

What I can support with

  • Rebuilding your sense of self after a life-changing experience

  • Feeling lost, stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself

  • The emotional aftermath of an experience or crisis, even after the immediate crisis has passed

  • Health challenges, cancer, chronic illness, or changes in your relationship with your body

  • Motherhood and the identity shifts that can come with becoming a parent

  • Relationship changes, separation, divorce, or shifts in connection

  • Career changes, burnout, or changes in professional identity

  • Grief and loss, including the loss of a person, a version of yourself, or the life you imagined

  • Finding joy and reconnecting with the parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside

Many of the women I work with look “fine” on the outside.

They may be functioning, caring for everyone else, going to work, raising their families, and carrying on with life — while internally feeling overwhelmed, unsteady, disconnected, or unsure of who they are now.

You may find yourself thinking:

“Why am I struggling when everything looks okay?”
“I should be okay by now.”
“I don't even know what I need.”
“I just want to feel like myself again.”

Sometimes, what we need isn't someone to tell us what to do. We need a safe place to stop, be heard, make sense of what happened, and figure out where we go from here.

How I work with you

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in real life. I don't believe counselling is about fixing you or telling you who you should be.

Together, we can explore:

  • What has changed and how it's affected you

  • The grief and emotions that may be underneath the surface

  • How your sense of identity has shifted

  • What you need in this chapter of your life

  • How you can reconnect with yourself and begin moving forward

You remain the expert on your own life. My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to talk openly, offer perspective, and help you make sense of what you're experiencing.
